For the past week or so, a few young herons have been putting on a show one in a while within eyeball distance of the Warden’s Watch.
The young green heron has been hanging out near the tip of the peninsula to the right of the Warden’s Watch, 
and a young back-crowned night heron has been partial to a downed tree that juts into the water not far away.
And we get to see the show as they go fishing and try to outgrow their sometimes gawky ways.
