Yellowlegs in the Meadowlands
Had 36 birds on a walk there yesterday, including lots of Greater Yellowlegs, a pair of Forster's Terns, lots of swallows, an uncooperative Yellow Warbler, the Caruso of Song Sparrows, a dozen Great Egrets, and a Snowy or two.

Great walk despite the rain. I was a first time visitor to DeKorte, but plan on making a return visit again soon. Thanks to Jim for his expert knowledge and pointing out all the species that we saw. Also, thanks to Unique and Tamron for helping make this outing possible.
