Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I cleaned out five Wood Duck boxes on Lake Appert yesterday.

A sixth had gone not unused, and only one of the used boxes had a few unhatched eggs (along with broken shells).

We put in fresh wood chips, and now await spring.
