I have been seeing lots of Wood Ducks in the early morning between the Franklin Turnpike and the Spillway Bridge.

Several were perched in trees this morning, with a female looking into the (empty) Screech Owl box.

All this week, I have seen several more swimming along the little stream/ditch behind my property and standing on the bridge.

I think we need to put up more nesting boxes!
