A New Facebook Campaign
I recently started a new Facebook page for Protect Our Wildlife and Pets, an ad hoc coalition formed to address…
One of the best ways to see Manhattan is to walk the High Line along the West Side from just south of 14th Street to 34th Street — almost a mile and a half of elevated views, and no traffic lights or vehicles to disrupt the experience.
I looked for unusual birds — lots of gulls and pigeons and House Sparrows — and could only come up with a Northern Mockingbird and a striking statue of a fanciful winged lion of some sort.
More and more sculptures every time I walk there.
Amazing place! Sue and I have walked it several times.
