Jerry Barrack’s Celery Farm Pix
My buddy Jerry Barrack was the first photographer to make The Celery Farm Nature Preserve his home base -- back…
Lynn McKenzie took this shot of an Wild Turkey with one of her young perched in the Celery Farm this week. I'm seeing Wild Turkeys in the CF, but seldom perched in a tree like this. (Thanks, Lynn!)
We have 6-10 resident turkies on our street daily for months every year for 38 years.. They roost in trees from dusk til dawn every single night. We have balloons in our tree to keep them away. They love sand baths in the gardens and basil bed. Cute at the farm not cute over our driveway, above the roof. Very messy with large waste. Gobble gobble grumble grumble
Cute picture. Thanks
