   Owl update: Mrs. Ace got some sun Saturday afternoon amid her incubating duties.

  Several smaller birds took turns mobbing her, but she paid them no never-mind.

  She had a choice bird for dinner, and went out briefly at dusk.

   Made her whinny noises once again.

   As far as I could tell on Sunday morning — and far from definite — still three eggs.
