Nature Done Wright

The BCAS had a very cool, if not cold, Super Bird Sunday walk at DeKorte Park today.

The object was to see birds that have NFL teams named for them, and to get some fresh air on Super Bowl Sunday.

Highlights included a Philadelphia Iggle (above) and a Bufflehead Bill (middle, below).  

(I am told a total of seven Bald Eagles were seen over the course of the walk.)

Other finds included two distant Common Goldeneye (found by Chris Takacs) and a very cooperative Pintail Drake.
