Nature Done Wright

The temperatures approached 80 degrees, the Lanternflies were still plentiful, and the birding was slow while I served as fill-in counter, but the fall foliage was still spectacular, vultures amused, and one of the local Peregrines flew in for her closeup.

Also had a really cool-looking boat — if that's the right word, for this rig — that looks like it must be some sort of pile-driver. (Photo below by James Sengul. Thanks, James.)
