Sharpie or Coop? You Decide…

Susan McTigue passed along these shots of an accipiter at her feeder.

She wants to know if it is a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-shinned Hawk. 

I ultimately went with Sharpie, but added that I am invariably wrong.

    Sharpie.
    Note the rounded head and steep forehead.
    Coopers has a long slanted forehead .
