You’re Invited! To the Dedication of the Lillian Thomas Natural Area

Yeomans Lane (off Powell Road), Allendale

Saturday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m.

The 20-acre natural area is named for Lillian Thomas, an inspirational Allendale resident who has been dedicated to protecting the environment for more than half a century.

Lillian was instrumental in saving the environmentally sensitive wetlands, which were purchased by the Borough of Allendale and are now owned by the Passaic River Coalition. The wetlands will remain protected forever.   

 Allendale Mayor Liz White will preside over the dedication.
