Governor-elect Sherrill is inviting New Jersey residents to share their ideas and priorities for the next administration.
I am part of a statewide coalition that wants New Jersey to ban the nastiest rat poisons, housed in those black plastic boxes that you see almost everywhere.
Please write to the Sherrill transition team at https://bit.ly/49Ra0Gt and make two points:
*The nastiest rat poisons should be banned in New Jersey because they kill more than rats – they also kill hawks, bald eagles, other wildlife and pets that eat the poisoned rats.
*More-effective, less-costly, wildlife-safe and pet-safe ways to curb rat populations are available.
