John and Pat Brotherton were in charge of the Ramsey Christmas Bird Count for as long as I could remember.

Fyke scanned the Brothertons' Hagstrom map from the mid-1960s, and it is now on the Fyke site.

It's a great way to see what the roads and open space were like back then. Hint: More open space, fewer roads and development back then.
