Which raises the age-old question: Sharpie or Cooper's Hawk?
Oops. I meant Purple Finch or House Finch.

My advice to tell them apart.
If you say ” is that a purple finch” then it isn’t . -
Too small to be either Sharpie or Coop and they lack hooked beak, Ooops.
Top is a Purple Finch, and the pair are House Finches. -
First pic is purple. Second is pair of house.
