A big thank you to everyone who made the 90th birthday surprise party for Stiles such a success  — from all the folks who attended (we estimated 60) to the 15 others who sent along their best wishes.

As for everyone who brought food and drink — unbelievable. What a great event.

I am also including some exclusive photos of the Christmas Bird Count wrap-up held that same evening at Borough Hall. The wrap-up is sort of like a country auction, except there's no bidding, no fast-talking and nothing for sale.
