I have a little more info to share on the peregrine that was seen at the Celery Farm last Friday and on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Thanks to Lynn McKenzie's photo, which captured part of the information on the leg band, we have narrowed down where it was banded to two states, and neither of them is New Jersey.

A bird-banding professional writes: "Mass. has used codes ##/CA, ##/CB, ##/CD. ##/CF. NY has used ##/CE. So there's a lot of possibilities."

(I'm figuring New York.)
