My Next Talk: This Friday, Demarest
By popular demand (of the Demarest Garden Club), I'll be giving a talk and slide show on my book "The Nature of the Meadowlands" thist Friday (Jan. 5) at 2 p.m.
The talk, which will be at 109 Hardenburgh Ave. in Demarest, will feature some of the book’s amazing nature photography and archival images — including Snowy Owls.
The talk is free and open to the public.

Good idea to cancel. Even if the snow accumulation is not significant it is supposed to get awfully windy. The cold is a real problem.

The talk has been cancelled because of Thursday’s expected snow and the cold snap… I am speaking at the BCAS meeting in two weeks — Jan. 17 — about my birding column for The Record. … More soon.

Will copies of the book be for sale? Will you sign them if they are? Will you sign the other book? I have no idea if I will make it though even though I would like to because I am having a huge group of family over on Saturday and I have to do so much. But I have some of your books to sign and would like a copy of this one.
