My New Column: Turtles and Birds

My new column in The Record is about the Snapping Turtles that lay their eggs in my yard, birds that are predator or prey, and  how they fit in nature's complicated food chain.

  • Yesterday I told my husband you reported the laying of eggs had begun. He commented by questioning if the hawks could go after the eggs. Well, there you have it. Great article. Be careful out there.
