My latest ‘Bird Watcher’ column

Alice Leurck
My latest "Bird Watcher" column in The Record is about banded and tagged birds — and what to do if you see one.  The column includes info on the banded Bald Eagle photographed by Alice Leurck in Overpeck Preserve this past spring.

I’m so glad your article was on this topic. I saw a seagull last year along the Hackensack River with orange tags on both wings and although I took photos, I didn’t know if I should do anything with this info. I know I still have the photo with the date so I will check into this further.
