My latest column for The Record is about the Red Knot, featuring an interview with Larry Niles, the wildlife biologist who has been instrumental in protecting this at-risk migratory shorebird.

I visited Larry in late May, when he and his team were researching the bird and other at-risk shorebirds near Cape May.
