Nature Done Wright

Besides bright lights, moths are attracted to trees painted with a sweet goo called moth bait.

We will try this at Moth Night on Monday, using a recipe found here.

(The goo does not harm the tree and disappears within a few days.)

Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I tried some of the goo last night, without much success, but will tweak the recipe for Monday night. 

The goo did work at Moth Night in the Meadowlands.
