Monday Mystery Revealed…

The answer to the mystery from Edith Wallace is:  Monarda and tall sunflower.

    OK, no more long distance ID-ing of composites from photos for me. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Who planted those sunflowers while I wasn’t looking? But we do have Heliopsis (Ox-eye or false sunflower) as well. I have actually photographed the pistils of the ray flowers (true sunflowers don’t have ’em). I must investigate.
