OK, no more long distance ID-ing of composites from photos for me. 🙂
Who planted those sunflowers while I wasn’t looking? But we do have Heliopsis (Ox-eye or false sunflower) as well. I have actually photographed the pistils of the ray flowers (true sunflowers don’t have ’em). I must investigate.
