Monday Mystery Answered

On Monday, I asked what kind of tree this is.

The answer: Beech. Congrats to everyone who answered correctly!

  • Thanks for the great link to the article on leave retention. I always wondered why the leaves on the lower branches of an oak in my yard always hang on through the winter. Especially since it is mot an artificial tree.
