Monday Mystery Answered
On Monday, I asked what this plaque on the front of our house is a replica of (nice grammar!), and whether you could I.D. the bird.
Readers provided lots of great answers.
The plaque is a replica fire mark from the Insurance Company of North America, to show that a house was insured…
The bird is either an eagle or a female Wild Turducken named Ina, depending on your interpretation.
For sticklers, I believe the bird is technically a golden Eagle. Thanks to all who answered.
(Yes, I am back from a trip to Yellowstone, and I will be posting photos in the next few days, beginning with a Monday Morning Mystery.)

Jim and Sue, I was unable to find an insurance carrier that would cover me but I did find a damn good surgeon.
