Ken Wiegand gave me this large rock — it would dwarf my Washington quarter.
Can anyone I.D. any of the fossils embedded in it? (Thanks, Ken!)
Since I know nothing about this I will dramatically and romantically suggest it is the Eye of Horus! It looks like an eye with the pupil and eyelashes…never mind.
Looks like a crinoid stem. And perhaps some brachiopods with it.
