Saw this barrel on a Celery Farm walk before the snow. Seems old, thick, and empty.
Anyone know what this sort of barrel it is, and how old it might be?

Is it some kind of 55 gallon steel drum? It looks like it has a flat top that would be sealed. It could have had food, liquids, or even chemicals…maybe gasoline? I would check it out to see if anything leached from it. It could be hazardous.
