Ralph Fylstra recently saw this fish and others attending the same school in the Allendale Brook not far from the Celery Farm.
The fish was about a half-foot long. Sorry about the photo quality; darned water got in the way.
What is it? No, it's not an Oriental Weatherfish.

Fish expert Bob Schmidt originally ID'd the fish for me. He wrote:
"[The] fish in the stream is a White sucker in spawning color. You show the typical black and cream striping that males develop in the spring. White sucker is a native stream fish and [unlike the weatherfish] should be welcomed in your area.
