Jerry Barrack’s Celery Farm Pix
My buddy Jerry Barrack was the first photographer to make The Celery Farm Nature Preserve his home base -- back…
The Monarch caterpillar from the Celery Farm native plant garden turned into a butterfly yesterday morning at Lee Memorial Library.
Frank (right in photo above) and Christian (middle) Alcaide, who run the Fyke Nature Association's awesome volunteer program, helped young Mila (left) release the Monarch just after Mila named the butterfly "Toothless" after a certain movie character.
We hope to release some more Monarchs at the library later this summer. Stayed tuned.
