Mink, Green Heron and More @Celery Farm

DSCN9756
Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I took a 90-minute walk through the Celery Farm and saw some awesome wildlife — a young mink, a Mourning Cl
oak butterfly, a Green Heron (above), huge Snapping Turtes, lots of Palms and RC Kinglets, and a few Yellow-rumps. Oh, and an Osprey with a fish.

Rob Fanning reported an American Bittern earlier. A big thank you to Rob, Julie McCall and Doug Morel for helping us with the Green Heron.

Full bird list and more pix follow, including a crappy one of the mink (I only had my point-and-shot). An amazing morning.
