Kingfisher Meets Marsh Hawk @ CF

Today was the day of the kingfisher at the CF.

At first I heard a kingfisher in the distance and waited to see it.

A few minutes later his chatter was so loud it sounded like it was 10 feet in front of me.

What I saw in the distance was a harrier flying very close to the kingfisher’s location.

The kingfisher and hawk now both flying very fast when another kingfisher joined in.

The hawk kept going and the two kingfishers flew together for a while.

At one point a kingfisher flew with the sandpipers for a short distance; it was much faster.

I was able to snap a few shots shown below.
