Impromptu Birdy 30 Contest on Tuesday

IMG_7406With a big snowstorm likely, thought we'd have a little Birdy 30 contest tomorrow to see who can count the most species from their window in 30 contiguous minutes.

(You can try as often as you like.)

E-mail me if you are interested, and just hope a Cooper's Hawk like this guy doesn't show up at your feeder.

these are the birds I saw in my backyard in Dumont from 12:00 to 12:30 today(1/27).
titmouse, white breasted nuthatch, black-capped chickadee, northern cardinal, slate-colored junco, mourning dove, downy woodpecker, red-breasted woodpecker, blue jay, white throated sparrow, chipping sparrow, purple finch, pigeon, and house sparrow. That is a total of fourteen.
