A New Facebook Campaign
I recently started a new Facebook page for Protect Our Wildlife and Pets, an ad hoc coalition formed to address…
Spent more than a week participating in a bird survey at several sites south and west of Havana as part of a terrific trip with the Caribbean Conservation Trust.
Saw many endemics, including Bare-legged Owl, Cuban Tody, Zapata Wren, Cuban Black Hawk and Zapata Sparrow (right).
Poor guy was embarrassed by a molting tail, so he hid it behind some greenery.
Planning to write a column about birding in Cuba for The Record in two weeks, so stay tuned.
Fabulous. Love being on the inside. You sure do get around. Terrific.
Cannot wait to see the pictures and hear all about it. Sounds wonderful…thank you for sharing in advance!
Looking forward to your column. Sounds like it was a great trip
