The Celery Farm’s heron is still hanging in, and hanging out.
I see him fishing almost daily by the Warden’s Watch, which is one of his favorite haunts.
He still doesn’t seem to mind humans, which is good and bad.
I can get some great close-ups, but for a wild bird he is way too comfortable around people.
Maybe when his fellow herons return in the coming months, he will keep his distance from humans again …
