Incorporating the Celery Farm and Screech Owl Companion blogs
Here’s to a Great Cleanup Crew
Fyke had an awesome group of volunteers at the clean-up, including many folks not included in the photo ops.
I counted at leasted 18 volunteers pitching in. A big thank you to them all!
The Celery Farm looks great!
Worst bit of trash: a big empty jug of Stump Likker, a molasses-based mess designed to attract deer.
That's right: Not only is some clueless individual feeding deer, but he/she is littering at the same time.
Don't they realize that this area is overrun with deer, increasing vehicular collisions, devastating native plants, and spreading deer ticks? Sad.

very sad. no wonder the deer stay bedded down even when standing 50 ft. from them.
