It has been a great fall for viewing raptors at the Celery Farm.
Got a report of a peregrine falcon perched near the Troop 59 lookout on Wednesday, and and there have been redtails, Cooper's, sharpies, harriers (above) and more.
I am particularly found of the harriers, with their owl-like faces, their white-spotted rumps (which helps with their IDs) and their way of working the marshes in search of prey.
