On Monday from my living room, I heard the not-unfamiliar sound of talons-on-metal coming from my bedroom that I used to hear five or six years ago.

I stuck my camera out of my LR window and got this shot of a windblown young red-tail on Hammy's old perch.

He didn't stay long … I hope he comes back.
