I have seen great blue herons at several places along the Hackensack River in the past two weeks, and finally saw one this morning at the Celery Farm along the Allendale Brook.
The photo quality here is not great, but the shot was taken from a distance in low light.
I just thought it was neat that there was still a heron or two hanging around.
Otherwise, just the usual suspects at the farm this morning. A distant prospective Virginia rail at No Name Culvert turned out to be a white-throat.
