On Friday night, the legendary Stiles Thomas and I are telling the story of these endangered hawks' efforts to survive — and thrive –  in Allendale or nearby Ramsey over the past 15 years.

The program will feature a talk by me, not-to-be-missed comments by Stiles, photos of Laura and her mate taken by Fyke Nature Association members, plus the unveiling of a real-live Red-shouldered Hawk carving done by Stiles.

There will also be a major announcement about the hawks. Oh, yeah!

The free program is at 8 p.m., March 25, at Allendale Borough Hall, 500 W. Crescent Ave., Allendale.

A reception for ace Celery Farm birder Rob Fanning will follow the 40-minute program.
