I went looking for bald eagles on the Hackensack River yesterday around 1 p.m. at Terhune Park on River Road in Teaneck.
It took about a minute to find this guy perched across the river in Foschini Park in Hackensack. These birds are so huge you can spot them a half-mile away with the naked eye.
I had only my point and click camera to photograph the bird across the river, which is why I didn’t blow up the image here.
Nonetheless, you can see this bird well enough to see that he (or she) is magnificent.
