Double Monday Morning Mystery: Frog and…

Marsh Warden Emeritus Stiles Thomas showed me this long-forgotten water receptacle (above) not far from the Celery Farm, near or on the site of an old farm.

What is it?

Inside the receptacle was a frog (below), my first of the year. What is it?

    The frog is so lumpy it almost looks toad-ish to me. Never seen one in the water though LOL
