No sooner did I return from Belize than My friend Vlad Rodriguez, who runs the La Milpa Field Station in Belize, reported seeing a Crested Eagle — a raptor considered even rarer than a Harpy Eagle. I share this post with those who love raptors.
Writes Vlad: "On the morning of April 5, while I was returning from the ruins with two guests we spotted a Crested Eagle just over the road on a branch… I got some good pictures, attached."
