Cool Sandpiper Story in The Record

The Record's Jim O'Neill had a terrific story recently about the plight of the Semipalmated Sandpiper, whose numbers have been dropping precipitously. 

Although these tiny shorebirds abound in the Meadowlands during migration, they have been having a tough time elsewhere.
