Congrats to Tom Reed

South Jersey's Tom Reed set the record for a New Jersey Big Year last year with an astounding 362 species — beating the old record by 25 species.

A tip of the hat to all five birders who out-did the old record of 337, set in 2002:

1

Tom Reed    362

2

Michael Fritz 359

3 Simon Lane   349

4 Frank Sencher Jr. 346

5 Samuel Paul Galick 344
