A Common Gallinule was seen across from Pirie Mayhood Tower from 7:55 to 8:05 a.m. Disappeared into reeds.
Found by Patty Finn, confirmed by Stiles Thomas and me. All of us had good looks through spotting scope.
Last recorded on eBird on Nov. 1, 2007, by John Workman.
Sorry I did not have a camera with me, but there was no doubt it was a Common Gallinule.
Will try for it same time tomorrow. Will bring spotting scope and camera.
I hope you get a chance to see it. It has been there two mornings now.
