Celery Farm Walk Is Saturday!
Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I are a leading a 90-minute nature walk around the Celery Farm Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
Target birds: Red-breasted Nuthatch and any warblers passing through. Mike and I also saw a (dead) Star-nosed Mole, quite a strange little beast.yesterday.
This walk is for nature-lovers of all ages and birders of all levels. We'll also look for bugs and weird plants.
Meet at 8 a.m.. at Green Way cul-de-sac on the north end of the CF off Franklin Turnpike. Check celeryfarm.net for any updates.
To register, contact Jim Wright at celeryfarm AT gmail.com.

Evidently I was not the only one who had a red breasted nuthatch visit their feeder since I saw someone posting a picture of one on The Great Backyard Bird Count. I was so happy to see one today. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10210154859884113&set=a.4254208349585.2172462.1117087692&type=3&theater
