Celery Farm Raven

IMG_0323Marsh Warden Stiles Thomas was nice enough to take me to a site by the Celery Farm where a what we believe to be a Common Raven was calling repeatedly and loudly.

It perched, called (a begging call?), flew around a bit, and repeated the process.

It did not seem to mind our temporary presence.

    Thanks for the information on Crows and Ravens. Every time I think I know something in nature I always find out how much more there is out there that I really need to learn. Great photos as always, Jim.
