Thin layer of ice on Lake Appert this morning, and plenty of birds at the feeder, including juncos and white-throated sparrows.
A few ducks still on the lake, but as you can see from the photo, more gulls as well.
The season is changing, for sure.
I also notice the titmice and chicadees checking the owl box and duck box, just to make sure their enemy the screech owl isn’t back.
One titmouse flew into the duck box briefly while I was looking at the monitor — I’d say the cam works fine.
