Nature Done Wright

A month ago Hiroki Fukuda, a top writer for the Asahi Shimbun, visited Allendale and North Jersey for a week. 

Not sure what Hiroki wrote for this major newspaper yet, but he has an excellent reputation, and he seemed fascinated by Allendale and environs,  our Founding Fathers (including John Fell), the Fell House (above left), our schools, the Celery Farm (top left and above left) and  American culture, including "Hamilton."

Hiroki even had a John Fell burger at the Allendale Bar and Grill (how's that for an American treat!)

Asahi Shimbun is the second-largest newspaper in the world, with a circulation of 6 million. 

My wife Patty and I spent quite a bit of time with Hiroki, and he joined me on a LightHawk photography flight over Allendale.

That's Hiroki at right.  An aerial of Allendale taken from the southwest that I took that day is below. The Celery Farm is in the upper middle of the photo.

Hiroki wrote a series of stories about his visit. He chose Allendale because we have a sister city in Japan, Omachi.

Japan's national election for the Upper House is today (July 10).
