A New Facebook Campaign
I recently started a new Facebook page for Protect Our Wildlife and Pets, an ad hoc coalition formed to address…
Rob Fanning spotted a distant adult Bald Eagle perched near Lake Appert this morning (above).
It was kind enough to fly down to the ice (below). Sill distant, but majestic. Did not see any transmitters or bands. (Thanks, Rob!)
Im glad you spotted that one. right on! very rare to see bald eagle in the area.
wow-wow-wow. great shots. thanks
I saw this eagle circling yesterday at about 9AM for over an hour about 30-50′ over the lake. The flocks of Canada geese, gulls and other birds were in a commotion, squawking and spiraling repeatedly to avoid becoming breakfast.
That put a smile on my face… Cool….
Thank you for sharing.
Very nice! Such a treat!
